Hello. I’m Lee.

I’m a wedding photographer based in Penzance, working right across Cornwall — from St Ives down to the Lizard and wherever else the road goes.

My way of shooting is documentary at heart. I watch, I wait, and I photograph the day as it actually felt rather than as a shot list said it should. You’ll barely notice me during the ceremony, and during the reception I’ll mostly be found near the bar, camera up, catching whoever’s mid-story.

That said, I do believe in portraits — just not stiff ones. We’ll take twenty minutes, go somewhere with good light, and I’ll get you laughing first. The best ones usually have a bit of oddness in them.

Before photography I did other things, as people do. Turns out all of it — the listening, the logistics, the knowing when to keep quiet — was practice for this.

When I’m not working I’m usually walking the coast path, in the sea, or in a café pretending the third coffee is the last one.
